Our treatment options are quite vast and customized for you, in most cases,  especially if you are seeking help for a specific health ailment, the best treatment will be determined via a discussion with our practitioner. Call us on +1.925.575.8700 or email info@ayutherapy.com to learn more.

Our therapy hours run from 10am to 7pm Tuesdays through Saturdays (with some exceptions for US National Holidays). 

In addition, our wellness store is open to the public from Tuesdays through Fridays from 10am to 2pm.

We will provide you with access to our online health evaluation questionnaire, which we ask you to complete on your computer or handheld device at least a day in advance of your appointment.

You can. Many popular services are bookable online and you can access our easy to use booking site by clicking the “BOOK NOW” buttons you will see on our website. Certain services are not bookable online due to the specialized nature of them, such as Basti’s, Udvartana, Bolus Massage, Nasya and more. These will be booked after our practitioner has discussed with you.  

TIP: If you don’t see a good appointment time online, give us a call at 925.575.8700 as we may have other options for you. 

In order to get the best out of Ayurvedic treatment, we strongly recommend that the pure, herb infused oils that are applied on your body actually remain on your skin for at least 3 hours post visit. With this in mind, we encourage you to wear appropriate clothing for your therapy appointment.

Yes. Ayurvedic herbs are mixed into compounds on-site at our Ayurvedic pharmacy. The compounds generated are a result of your individual needs, which are determined from your consultation with our practitioner.

We also see Ayurvedic supplements and skin care products in our Ayurvedic Wellness Store which is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 10am to 1pm.

We follow the latest guidelines from county and state in relation to infectious diseases. Currently all staff and clients are NOT required to wear face coverings while in the facility, though we have HEPA certified air purifiers in all consultation and therapy rooms, we have hand sanitizer stations across the facility, we have taken social distancing into consideration when designing the setup of our waiting area and we disinfect appropriately our therapy rooms between clients.

Should you wish for your therapist/practitioner to wear a mask during your treatment, please let us know and we will be happy to oblige. If our protocol is unsatisfactory for you, we will of course fully understand should you decide not to proceed with undertaking any services that we offer. 

Yes. If you refer a friend or family member that purchases any Ayutherapy service or wellness package then you will receive a 10% discount off of any FULL PRICE service or 5% discount off any wellness package at regular price. Maximum discount per visit is 10% off of any single service and 5% off any wellness package. Discounts WILL NOT be applied to any services that are already discounted via a coupon, special offer or club membership. As an example, if you refer 3 people, then you will receive 3 x 10% discount over your next 3 A-La-Carte services visits for services at Ayutherapy. 

Our center does NOT have shower facilities. Please wear appropriate comfortable/casual/sports clothing to your therapy appointment to avoid staining to fancy or formal wear.

We accept Spafinder (including Spawish) AND Spaweek gift cards as forms of payment for body therapies at our center. ONE gift card can be used per appointment, regardless of the value of the card. For example, if you have 2 x $50 gift cards and the service price is $150, then you can use 1 of your $50 gift cards towards the $150, and the remaining $100 can be paid with cash, cashapp, Google Pay or credit/debit card.

Our monthly membership subscriptions are only payable by a credit/debit card. In addition to a credit/debit card, you can pay for Annual Wellness Club membership OR package bundles/programs with cash at our center.

Our location offers stair as well as elevator access. In addition, there are ADA compliant restroom facilities as well.

Not at this time. Payments towards Ayurvedic treatment or products at our center will need to be paid out-of-pocket or via any health savings (HSA) or flexible spending (FSA) accounts you may have. Even if Ayutherapy is able to process a health savings debit/credit card, we take no responsibility if a claim that is made is later denied by any insurance provider.

Treatments and therapies at our center will often initially be devised via a discussion/consultation with our Ayurvedic Practitioner. This exchange will determine the appropriateness of undertaking an Ayurvedic regimen and will be based on your specific constitution, circumstances and goals. Based on the outcome of these initial discussions, we aim to reach a consensus with our clients on the optimal approach to remedying their ailments. There are no guarantees, you are welcome to read our testimonials or see reviews on Google or Yelp!

When an in-person consultation is not possible or convenient, but treatment is still sought, then audio or video consultations are a great and convenient alternative. 

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and there are times when our appointments and obligations cannot always be met. With this in mind, our policy is that all appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled, without any penalty, up to 48 hours [2 full business days] before the scheduled appointment time. Appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled within the 48 hours window, will be subject to a “no show” fee which is 50% of the regular price of the appointment.

In order to assist you in avoiding any unexpected fees, we will send you a text message and/or email reminder of your appointment at least 72 hours prior to your appointment so that you have the opportunity to review your calendar to determine if a cancelation or reschedule is necessary.

We recommend that you arrive for your appointment at least 10 (ten) minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time. This will allow you time to get settled, changed out of your clothes (if necessary) in advance of the appointment and ensure that the full appointment time allocated is utilized.
It depends on the treatment. As every case can be different, please discuss your specific situation with our practitioner, who will be happy to provide you with the best guidance.
Yes. We sell carefully selected products from some of the World’s leading Ayurvedic pharmacies and companies. A full selection is available in store at our wellness center.

Should you be impressed with the service that you have received from your body therapist, then you are welcome to gift a gratuity IN CASH or via VENMO. Any gratuity received will be provided in its entirety to the therapist(s) that worked with you. We do not expect a gratuity from our clients, but all gratuities are immensely appreciated.

We work very hard to ensure consistency and quality of service while always striving to stay true to authentic Ayurvedic principles and practice. There may be occasions where we fall short of our standards, and should you feel for whatever reason that you received services that you perceived to be sub-par then we very much want your candid feedback. This is the only way that we can learn and make things right. Any professionally packaged products, such as herbal tablets, teas, oils and skincare products can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund if they are unopened and untampered with. 

Custom made herbal compounds are not returnable. If you have any doubts in relation to a purchase that you are making with Ayutherapy, please raise your concern prior to the acquisition of any products.  

Managing a subscription means changing the payment method or processing a cancelation:

  1. Call on 925-575-8700 or email us with the details and the date from which you wish to cancel, or with any updated payment method and we will process for you.
  2. On the emails that you receive in relation to your subscription payments, from Square, there is a “manage subscription” link which you can click on and subsequently cancel the subscription or change the payment method.

There is no “lock-in” period with our subscriptions. You are free to cancel at anytime and for any reason. Once you cancel, any credit remaining on your account after you cancel can be used towards an Ayutherapy service post cancelation. Special discounted pricing that is available to members will not apply if the subscription is not active. At this time there are two subscriptions offered at Ayutherapy. 

  1. Ayurveda Wellness Club (annually). $375 per year covers 1 x SIGNATURE Ayurvedic Consultation + 3 Follow-Ups + 10% discount off regular prices on A-La-Carte therapies. If all appointments have not been used during the membership period, they DO NOT carry over into the next year. If you cancel before the start of the next billing period, your membership remains active until the next billing date. 
  2. AyuBliss Healing Spa Club (monthly). $99 per month for a choice of one of five treatments per month and additional discounts thereafter. Once canceled, rejoining this club is not permitted for at least 3 months, assuming the club is taking new members at that time. 

If you are a member of one of our subscription services and you wish to cancel or reschedule within the 48 hour allowed window before your appointment, you are still subject to the “no-show” fee. 

If you would rather NOT pay the “no-show” fee, you can choose to forfeit the appointment/visit related to the “no-show”. Please let us know which option you prefer at the time of cancelation/rescheduling.
